Our preconstruction team is comprised of skilled craftsmen with practical experience and the ability to visualize a project in its conceptual stage. This ability enables us to provide the accurate budgets that are critical in today’s market. Our team is dedicated to the success of our customers and is willing to go the extra mile to help them be successful throughout the preconstruction process.

With over twenty in-house AutoCAD stations in our VDC/ Detailing department, led by experienced craftsmen, The Porter Company is ready and willing to take the lead and meet the virtual needs of our customers. Through the VDC process, our team repeatedly makes the seemingly impossible challenges of limited space possible while working within the constraints of a virtual 3D model. Our team utilizes AutoDesk Building Design Suites and other software, such as Navisworks, Revit, and AutoCAD MEP.

With 25,000 square feet of shop space dedicated to HVAC, plumbing, and piping prefabrication and 18,000 square feet of dedicated sheet metal fabrication space, The Porter Company is able to meet the prefabrication and fabrication needs of multiple diverse projects at any given time. By utilizing proven prefabrication methods, we are able to remain competitive in a very competitive market while providing our customers with quality product.
